Founded in November 2025 by Gavin Duffy, Zeromachine emerged from a three-and-a-half-year quest to reimagine sustainable construction equipment. We’re bridging the gap between cutting-edge hydrogen fuel cell innovation and the rugged demands of the industry.

We want to introduce true ‘Lifecycle Design’ – A wholly sustainable, holistic approach to product design that accounts for the full life of the machine from it's inception through to disposal, specifically ease of servicing and repair further significantly reducing the total cost of ownership as well as giving end of life recycling and remanufacture opportunities.

Our machines will have performance that matches or exceeds diesel and battery electric counterparts removing industry barriers to adoption.

We want to offer customers true operational flexibility with 24/7 Zero emission operation, 10 minutes to refuel like a diesel, with no downtime at all to charge. It’s a Hybrid machine so it will be quiet while it’s working, and it can work indoors or outside.

Our customers will enjoy simplified maintenance and repair due to the nature of the technology utilised in the design of the machine that will use electric linear actuators rather than hydraulic cylinders, further significantly reducing maintenance costs and vastly improving energy efficiency as well as eliminating the need for polluting fluid power transmission fluids that require frequent and costly changes from the machine.

We want to establish a world-class Research, Development and Manufacturing facility in Blyth, Northumberland creating significant employment opportunities for the area making a lasting positive impact on the local community, the region and the environment.

We promise the market a British designed, developed and manufactured product and we will be looking to localise our supply chain where possible – local, regional, national then international, in that order of priority.
